If a home system or appliance breaks down or stops working, you call the home warranty company. If you have a problem your home warranty company will call a local service provider to make an appointment with you to fix your problem. The service provider will fix the problem. If an appliance or system is malfunctioning and can’t be repaired, depending on your contract coverage, your home warranty company will pay to replace and install the appliance. You pay a small fee to the home warranty company for the service.
Are all policies created equal?
Home Warranty companies each have different levels of service that cover different systems of your home. The free warranty we offer covers the main systems. Heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical. You can opt to buy an upgrade that will cover more options such as appliances. But do your homework first before you buy an upgrade. Most times the basic package will be fine, but you may want to opt for better coverage. Either way you'll have the piece of mind for a fraction of the cost if something were to go wrong.

Again, Absolutely. A year long policy will generally cost you under $500.00 for the year. And often times you can negotiate the seller into adding a warranty as part of your contract negotiations.
